Revive My Heart નમૂનો

Our advocate: 1 John 2:1
In the American justice system, anyone accused of a crime has the right to legal representation. If someone can’t afford an attorney, the court will appoint an advocate for him— someone who will stand alongside him and plead his case.
Our defense attorney is Jesus. He advocates for us before the Father, applying to us the sufficiency of His sacrificial death. He reconciles us to God and restores our fellowship with Him. An attorney’s job is to defend his client, to do everything possible to show the defendant isn’t guilty, or if proven guilty, to be sure his client isn’t treated unjustly.
Jesus advocates for us in a different way. He knows we’re guilty of breaking God’s law, and He doesn’t pretend we’re innocent. He always tells the truth, and the truth is we’re rebels. The reason He advocates for us is that justice has already been served. Those who have been justified in Christ can stand before God as if they had never sinned.
Make It Personal:
Take time to express gratitude to Jesus for interceding for you at the cross and for offering grace and forgiveness to cover your sins.
