In the beginning, God created everything. He made it all. Including you. Yes, YOU!

In the book of Genesis, it says that He (God) made human beings in His image to fill the earth, to be fruitful and multiply, to reign in life, and to worship Him...Long before you were born, He already knew all about you. He already thought about how He wanted to create you. Including...

Your strengths and weaknesses.

Your successes and failures.

Your quirks.

Your laugh.

God knows all about you.

He CHOSE to create you.

Why?

Because HE LOVES YOU! There isn't anything you could do to make Him not love you. He has loved you even before you chose to love Him. He has loved you even though you didn't always love Him. (Romans 8:37-39 is a great encouragement for us regarding God's faithful love toward His children). You are God's masterpiece!

He has given you your unique personality, your humor that sometimes people don't understand, the gifts that have been hard-wired into you, that nose you wish was smaller, that crooked tooth, your eye color...Every detail of your being was created by our Abba!

Everything God creates has a purpose. And that includes you. He created you with a purpose, for a purpose. You are not here without a reason. We each have been given a special unique purpose. It's up to us to DISCOVER our purpose and we do that by spending time with God and allowing Him to show us what we need to be doing. And trusting that He will.

As you place your trust in God to save you, you can trust He has a good plan for your life! One that He planned from the beginning (Jeremiah 29:11-13). It's up to us to partner with Him so that we can fulfill His assignment in our lives. We cannot fulfill our purpose apart from God (John 15:5). Take a moment today and think about how God has intentionally designed you and where He has placed you at this specific point in history. You are not here by accident.

You are not reading this devotional by accident.

There are NO coincidences with God.

Our steps are ordained by the Lord.

You may not be where you want to be, but at least you aren't where you used to be. It's time to know who you are and whose you are and step into your PURPOSE!

DECLARATION:

I am not a mistake. I am a unique creation and thoughtfully designed by God Himself. I will fulfill my God-given purpose in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.

What action steps can you take to get started to fulfill your purpose?

I encourage you to take small action steps, CONSISTENTLY, that will bring you closer to fulfilling those godly desires that have been placed inside you.
