How Does God Heal Us?નમૂનો
Have you ever known a Christian with an incurable disease who passed from this life and into the next despite hundreds or more people praying for their healing? Or what about children suffering from terminal illnesses? These situations leave loved ones and believers distraught, questioning God on what seems like his refusal to heal someone who surely deserves it.
It's so hard to be human. We don’t know God’s bigger plan or why some things turn out the way that they do on this earth. But we can have assurance that God is always with us, even in the most tragic circumstances.
Many times, we view death as an ending, a loss. In our limited understanding, we struggle to see how death can represent anything positive, especially when it takes away people we love so much that we would gladly trade our lives for theirs. What we fail to realize is that if we could give our lives instead, we would be taking something precious from our loved ones—the chance to be fully healed, fully restored, and to never suffer again.
For believers, death is merely the gateway to something far better. 2 Corinthians 5:1 says, “For we know that…when we die and leave this earthly body, we will have…an eternal body made for us by God himself.”
Who can you remember today and celebrate their eternal healing?
Prayer: God, we thank you that you never leave us nor forsake us, even in our darkest hours. Please come alongside us in our hope and our grief and remind us that there will be better days ahead, when we are reunited with those we have lost, at your side.
