7 Days of Prayer and Fastingનમૂનો
GODLY WISDOM & KNOWLEDGE
As God speaks and we learn to listen, we receive godly wisdom and knowledge. Our lives are so fast-paced, with various sources of information and opinions all around us. Every day we face decisions, from significant consequential ones to everyday small ones. We need understanding and wisdom to proceed. However, it can be tempting to be self-reliant or turn to the world's information and opinions instead of seeking and patiently waiting for direction from the Lord.
God teaches us to seek, understand, and rely on the Holy Spirit in all things. This helps us grow in our spiritual discernment, enabling us to understand right from wrong, good from God, and truth from lies. God is the source of all wisdom and knowledge, and He speaks to us as we spend time in His presence. Today, we choose to seek God's voice first and prioritize His will for our lives.
It is crucial for us to meditate on scripture and spend intentional time getting familiar with His voice and actively pursue a relationship with Him. Today, as we acknowledge God as the ultimate source of wisdom, truth, and light, we pray that as He speaks to us, we are ready to listen.
Application/ Reflection:
- In what areas of your life do you need Godly wisdom and knowledge?
- How does God speak to you?
- How can you seek wisdom and knowledge from God practically today?
Prayer:
Lord, You are the source of all wisdom and truth. I thank You for Your Word, which I can stand on as I face the situations that surround me. I thank You that in this time, I am drawing near to You, leaning not on my own understanding but relying on Your ways and Your will. I ask that You attune my ears to Your voice and mature me in my faith and understanding of the Holy Spirit. I pray that as I rely on You, You transform my heart, thoughts, and the lives of those around me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, I pray, amen!
