Look around at the people around you. Maybe your family, the people in your small group, your coworkers, your friend group, or just a crowded street of strangers. As you take in the people near you, consider the fact that each one of you wasn’t just made uniquely—you were each made with unique gifts. No two people are the same, and no two people’s gifts and talents will be used the same way. Rather, each of your unique gifts can serve those around you and vice versa. What’s more, each of your gifts can be used alongside those of the people around you to make a kingdom impact on the world.
As we put our gifts to work in the world, we get the chance to see how they can impact the world for the Lord. As we start to get to know the people around us, we get a chance to see how God is using their gifts to serve, impact, and love others too. So, let’s focus on calling out and celebrating the gifts of others at work in the world. Who in your life has a talent, skill, or gift that’s different from your own? How do you see them using it for God’s glory? Find a way to let them know you see it and encourage them to keep using their gifts for the Lord this week.

About this Plan
Like a plant, our root system—our identity—is vitally important to our health. It’s how you see yourself in light of God, others, and the world. It’s what holds you when life changes, threatens, or causes you to question what’s true about you! We’ll look at how a healthy identity rooted in who God is will keep us strong, vibrant, and grounded no matter what comes our way.
