A Glimpse of Infinity (New York Edition) - 7 Days of Photography & Prayersનમૂનો
The Morning Mist
PRAYER FOR TODAY
Father God, if you kept a record of sins, who could stand? But with You, there is forgiveness, so we can, with reverence, serve You (Psalm 130:3-4). Because of Jesus, we are made white as snow! Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the one whose sin You will never count against them (Romans 4:7-8).
Lord, as we look around the world, we see many people in several religions that are continually trying to atone for their sins — like somehow, if they do enough good works or pray enough, You will forgive them. Yet, You have declared that our salvation is not because of any works that we could do, but because of Your own purpose and grace (2 Timothy 1:9). Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set us free from the law of sin and death (Romans 8:1-2).
As we meditate on these great truths, please remind us to pray for those who are continually trying to earn their salvation. And give us the words to speak, Lord! For You have made it so incredibly simple to be with You — to call upon the name of Jesus and be saved! For You loved the world so much, that You gave Your only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16). Thank You for Your grace and great love for us!
ONE QUESTION
Do I truly believe that God has blotted out my transgressions through Christ's saving work on the cross, or do I find myself dwelling on past mistakes?
