Qualifying to Work With God (Criteria for Divine Partnership)

DAY 6 OF 30

WHY GOD MAY OR MAY NOT WORK WITH YOU

This kind of minister knows he has a calling, but he is unserious with his calling. He does just barely enough to get by, and he's not pressing into the excellence that the calling requires from him. I've seen some like that.

There is the category of servants of God who are not pressing into the excellence that rests in the calling that God has placed on their lives. Excellence does not mean perfection; excellence simply means improvement, moving beyond the previous mark that is set, year in and year out, moving forward, and pressing forward and upward.

There are also some under this category that God may use. In this category, you will see a man God has called but is not making himself available to God. Many things are demanding his time when God looks at the assignment that He has on his mind for that man, he or she is the best person because he has the most precise calling for that assignment, but the man himself does not respect the calling of God enough to make himself available for God and his calling.

Take yourself seriously and take the calling of God upon your life serious. If you do not, God will have to look for someone else to do it. That person may not do it well, the way you would have done it, but he will still do it. Do not be the man that God may use and work with but rather be the one that He will choose to work with.

Prayer: Lord, I pray for the grace to be your number one choice always. My replacer will be jobless, I will give you joy in Jesus’ name. Amen!
