Why God Removes Peopleનમૂનો
Day 4: Don't Lose Your Sense of Worth
It is time to stop having friendships at the level of your self-esteem. You may have settled into expired relationships because you genuinely see yourself as lower or less than other people.
If you are unable to see yourself the way that God sees you, then you will yoke yourself to people who do not match who you are.
This goes for dating relationships that are at the level of your self-esteem, business partners who make you feel comfortable with your level of self-esteem, and even churches that match your level of self-esteem.
God wants you to see yourself through His eyes!
This is an identity issue. Even the prodigal son had to stop and realize that when he stepped away from his father’s covering, he consequently agreed to connect himself with people and things that were beneath him.
He realized that he left royal positioning and connections only to work and eat below his means. Imagine having a space reserved for you by the Almighty God and choosing to believe that such spaces do not exist.
I know that the enemy has done his best to make you think less of yourself, but make the decision today that he will not dictate your future any longer!
Not only will your esteem match your true identity and position in Christ, but you will also connect with individuals who see and encourage that identity!
Reflect:
If you are struggling with your sense of worth in Christ, you must become intentional about renewing your mind with the Word of God. The Bible is filled with so much truth about your identity and how God sees you, but you must search it out.
Take time today and make a list of truths that the Bible says about you and your worth to Christ. Rehearse and memorize them until you believe them. When you become solid in this, it will strengthen your ability to align with the right people.
