What Jesus Said About Prayerનમૂનો
Remarkable statements of Jesus about prayer
Ask the Holy Spirit what He wants to reveal to you. Remember: This is what Jesus said about prayer. He is the One that calls us to prayer, and He doesn't call us to pray so that He will not answer us. Consider this verse in Isaiah 45:19 (NIV) - I have not said to Jacob's descendants, 'Seek me in vain.'
Faith and doubt: "Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "if you have faith and do not doubt, not only will you do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' it will happen. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. (Matthew 21:21-22).
Remain in His words: If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you (John 15:7).
Pray in unity and agreement: I tell you truly that if two of you on the earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven. For where two or three gather together in My name, there am I with them (Matthew 18:19-20).
Persevere in prayer – Then Jesus told them a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up (Luke 18:1-8).
Pray in Jesus' Name – And I will do whatever you ask in my name so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it (John 14:13-14).
Question: What is standing out for you from these verses? What needs to change in your daily conduct to align with what Jesus is saying here? Decide on one definite thing you must change or implement in your life.
