Deliverance From Evilનમૂનો
Israelites in the Wilderness
After the Egyptians convinced Pharaoh to let the Israelites go, he and his officials had a change of heart the minute he sent God’s people on their way. As a result, he ordered his army to pursue the Israelites in the wilderness.
When the people realized that their captors were chasing after them, fear consumed their hearts and minds, and in utter desperation, they cried out to the living God.
In response, the Angel of God, who had been traveling in front of the Israelite army, retreated and positioned himself behind the camp. The Bible says the pillar of cloud that was leading the children of Israel also moved to the rear of the camp to ensure that the Hebrews and Egyptians remain separated.
Again, we see God doing the miraculous and literally forming a band of protection around His children as He led them through an unfamiliar terrain in the midst of darkness. Though the enemy loomed behind in close proximity, they were unable to attack or overtake the Israelites because God was going before and behind them.
Likewise, when walking through the dark places in our lives, we don’t have to be fearful once we remember God is with us and promises never to leave or forsake us.
