The Names of Godનમૂનો
Today we are going to reflect on Jehovah Jireh. Translated it means see, or He will see to it. In Genesis, we see that Hagar, calls on the Name of the Lord as the one who sees. In Genesis 22:14 we see Abraham say, “the Lord will provide”. In the beginning usage of the verse, it is the Lord will provide and at the end, it is the Lord has provided. The word senses that if we have a problem, we have a goal that seems insurmountable, God will see to it, and He will make sure that He will provide for us if it is in His plan and will. He will never leave us without the provision we need for the way He chooses for us, for the relationships He chooses for us or the situations He puts us in. If there is a season of patience, He wants you to wait on Him, He will grant you that patience that is needed. He’s not going to expect anything from us that He doesn’t deliver.
For us today we can be rest assured that God is our ultimate provider. We must take note of the events here and be careful not to get too far ahead of the situation itself. God asked Abraham to give up his son. God does not ask for anything without providing for us first. God is ready to provide for the things that He has demanded of us. In comparison, our demands are nothing compared to what God demands, and if He can provide for His demands, can He not also provide our demands?
So, trusting in Jehovah Jireh encourages faithfulness and reliance on God’s provision for all circumstances in our lives. He is my provider and that is our prayer through life, through valley, on top of mountains. He’s not going to give us everything, but we can be rest assured that if He’s put us in it, He will provide for us through it as we trust Him.
Reflect
Take a moment to reflect on this title of Jehovah Jireh as the God who sees or who provides. He does not demand anything from us without providing for us.
Prayer
Our Heavenly Father, we thank You that no problem is insurmountable for You. Nothing is too difficult for You to handle. Thank You for the assurance that You equip us and that You provide for the life You have called us to live. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

About this Plan
Knowing the names of God brings us closer and to a deeper relationship with Him. Throughout the scriptures, we see either God reveal himself, or the people call out to a particular characteristic attributed to His Name. Over the next few days, as we contemplate the resurrection, let us dive deeper into the personhood of God. In this plan, we will go over a few of the Names of God.
