Holy Saturday - Grieving and Resting

We don’t know much of what happened on the Saturday of Holy Week. But we can imagine the sorrow—the utter devastation—felt by those who had hoped Jesus would be one who would redeem Israel. They grieved. They rested. And although Jesus had told them about his resurrection in advance, they had no idea what was about to happen next.
