What Jesus Said About Spiritual Warfareનમૂનો
Discern between the voice of the Holy Spirit and the voice of Satan
The following guidelines will help you to distinguish the voice of the Holy Spirit from the voice of Satan. Comparing the character of God's kingdom and the character of the kingdom of the evil one is of much help in discerning the voice of God.
Jesus said in John 10:27 – My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. Through the Holy Spirit and our knowledge of Scripture, we will know the truth and will be able to discern. Every revelation and "voice" must align with Scripture. Remember: Truth is in Jesus as the Truth, the way is in Jesus as the Way, and life is in Jesus as Life (John 14:6).
The voice of the Holy Spirit is from within you (He dwells in you) to guide and assist you, while the voice of Satan is from "outside," trying to force you to do things, even against your will. The Holy Spirit always seeks our cooperation.
When the Holy Spirit speaks to you, He will give you enough time to decide and test what you hear versus Satan, who tries to force you to hurry up and make quick decisions.
The Holy Spirit will lead you in line with Scripture versus Satan, who will try to make you act on your emotions irrespective of what the Bible says.
The Holy Spirit uses our intellect (reason), emotions, and the truths of the Bible to guide us versus Satan, who will try to manipulate us to do certain things even if they are not logical and confirmed by Scripture.
When the Holy Spirit speaks, there is a choice, and He seeks your cooperation versus Satan, which will force you and intimidate you to act.
It is essential to understand that the Holy Spirit convicts of sin and always shows you a way out of this through the blood of Jesus and forgiveness versus Satan, who will accuse and condemn you without any possibility of being set free.
The Holy Spirit inspires, but Satan intimidates, dominates, and manipulates.
The Holy Spirit shows us our value as children of God versus Satan, telling us how worthless we are, that God doesn't want us, and that we are not acceptable to God.
