The Freedom Of Limitation – Living Inside God's Boxનમૂનો
His Box is Bigger Than You Think
There are lessons to be learned in the box:
Lesson #1: The box doesn’t need to be a barrier
The reason we don’t think of Jesus living behind barriers is because they don’t seem that apparent to us. Jesus was reconciled the tension created by them, but still learned to live successfully in spite of them. Jesus teaches us that the boxes in our lives cannot be ignored, but neither do they have to become excuses. Limitation need not become loss and restriction does not need to result in resignation.
Lesson #2: You can live well, whatever the box
Jesus lived so well we tend forget that He could only be in one place at a time, and that He didn’t start His ministry until He was 30 years old.
I once saw a fridge magnet that said, “How can I fly like an eagle when I’m surrounded by turkeys!” One day we’ll stop taking life lessons from fridge magnets and start taking them from the Bible! Jesus teaches us that even if we are surrounded by turkeys, if our DNA is that of an eagle, then we can fly. Our flight is not determined by our EN-vironment but by our IN-vironment.
Lesson #3: The box may limit you, but it doesn’t limit God
Jesus grew up in a nowhere place and never travelled more than 150 miles from that village in any one direction. He lived in a world before phones, television and the Internet. Yet, He is arguably the most famous, most worshipped, most followed and most celebrated person in the history of the world.
One of our weaknesses as humans is that we generally have an inflated view of our own self-importance and influence. We tend to think that everything relies on us and if we don’t do it, it will never get done. The truth is, God was running the universe before we were born and He’ll still be doing a great job when our bones are dust. It is not our job to do everything, it is our job to do the thing He wants us to do and leave the rest to Him.
If we will have the courage to stay within God’s boxes for our lives, our impact and influence will go further than we ever dreamed possible.

About this Plan
Limits and boxes have always been part of the human experience from the very beginning, and therefore should not be an issue of unnecessary concern to us. The key is recognizing we have limits, but if we engage with God’s timeless truth and His relentless purpose for our lives, we can live so well within those limits that it seems like we’re living beyond them. We can go beyond what we think is possible if we stay within the God-designed boxes of our lives. He can do more with us and through us in a box, than we can do on our own, outside of the box!
