Healing: The False Truths Blocking Divine Healing

DAY 1 OF 3

My Deed of Ownership

We have just read that faith is a 'demonstration' of things not seen. This word could also be translated as 'deed of ownership.' If you hold a deed of ownership, it is proof that you own the item in question. Therefore, faith is the deed of ownership of things you have not yet seen. If someone gives you the deed of a house you've never seen, you own the house even before seeing it, right? The same applies to faith. Jesus accomplished everything on the Cross. By His wounds, we are healed. We hold this deed of ownership, even if we do not see it. This is why Jesus often says, 'He who believes has.'

Let's consider the deed of ownership of a house. Just because we feel down or discouraged doesn't mean we lose part of our ownership, right? We wouldn't think of questioning our deed just because we haven't thought about our house enough or lived in it enough. Yet, we often have this attitude towards faith in divine healing. Jesus accomplished everything on the cross for our healing, but we focus on our own lives and efforts to determine if we deserve what we inherited 2000 years ago.

I invite you to realize that we do not have to earn, but simply to inherit. We have a deed of ownership waiting to be used to experience divine healing in our bodies. I invite you to pray with me: Jesus, thank You for what You accomplished on the cross for me. I know that by Your wounds on the cross, I am healed. I hold this deed of ownership You gave me, and it has nothing to do with me, but everything to do with You. I place my faith in this spiritual reality and declare healing in my body. In the name of Jesus, amen. Jérémy Pothin
