Immanuel, God With Usનમૂનો
We have been created by God and for God. Jesus was before us. He already existed when the human being was only an idea in the mind of God. We were created by Him, to relate to Him. For that reason, we are invited to imitate Him, not only because it is convenient and good for us, but because it is our purpose. We were created in his image, and Jesus is the image of the invisible God. So, all that we are leads us to him. Everything we seek, in reality, seeks Him.
If we listen to our deepest longings, they are resolved with Jesus. There are those who desire recognition (acceptance), and in Jesus, we are accepted (even with our defects). To those who seek love and affection, Jesus is not only LOVE, but He demonstrated that love, by becoming man, suffering like us and for us, and dying in our place. If we look for success and achievement, Jesus leads us to victory regardless of situations. And if it’s healing we need, physical or emotional, restoring us to health and well-being, He can do that. He has done it before.
Whatever we desire, in reality, we desire Him. But since the day sin separated us from Him, we need Jesus to reveal Himself to us through the Gospel. That's why everyone needs to hear it, everyone needs to receive the news. Whatever it is that you seek, it is in Jesus' hands to offer it, because in reality, it is not what He can give you, it is that those needs are reflections of the fact that we really need Him. If our heart were a lock, Jesus would be the only key that fits, that can open it. Of course, we can try other keys, we can try to force the lock, but God's design is so perfect that the only thing we will achieve is to break it, to damage it, until we finally accept that there is only one key. That only in Him is the fullness of our life.
About this Plan
In the beginning, God dwelt with human beings. The relationship was close, direct, without intermediaries, and without impediments. Everything went wrong because of sin, we went astray, we moved away from home, but then He came. Jesus came to bring light into our lives, He brought us closer to the Father again. And now God is with us, He is Immanuel.
