Ephesians 3:20 NLT Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.
Consider the incredible idea that God intends for us to achieve not just more, but significantly more than our current endeavors. This isn't about increasing our workload or activities but aligning ourselves with His purpose, living it out collectively—being disciples, disciplined, and eager to fulfill His will.
Challenges arise when we attempt to accomplish this in our own strength or abilities. However, today's scripture emphasizes that true accomplishment comes when His mighty power operates within us. It's a matter of cooperating with His plan and walking it out under the influence of the Holy Spirit residing within us.
It falls upon us to explore the magnitude of that power and assess our willingness to allow it to manifest in and through us. As someone once noted, becoming more enables us to do more, possess more, give more, live more, and love more. This synergistic life cycle unfolds, providing deeper insights and strengthening our resolve to share Christ.
Just as blades of grass naturally grow longer and trees extend their branches, as children of God, we are designed to grow and become more. As your fruit grows, increases, and multiplies so does your glorification of the Father. It is the heart of God, that you bear fruit, and not just any fruit, good fruit!
Reflection: Let's believe for greater influence, increased favor, and an abundance of resources to contribute to every Christ-centered God-ordained endeavor. As we do this, let's remember to believe for an increase, not just for ourselves, but for others as well!
