The Final Journeyનમૂનો
Adrift at Sea
On their way to Italy, Paul advises the crew to avoid the harsh weather of winter by staying at one harbor, while they decide against it, for justifiable reasons. The entire boat experiences incredible toil when a storm batters it. But Paul offers reassurance of their survival.
Read: Acts 27:1, 9-26(NLT)
Explore the Theme: Paul tries to warn the ship’s crew about a storm, but his warning is not heeded. How frustrating might it have been for Paul, not being heard? To know that plans were still moving forward despite what he knew was right?
What kind of fear do you think Paul felt, knowing that a storm was going to come - and that it would be severe and possibly life-threatening? Can you feel Paul's anxiety expecting death by sea storm?
Ask God: Are there any situations in your life where you feel like you are the only one speaking or seeing truth? Amid knowing the right way among a crowd bent on going the wrong way, ask God to control what you cannot. Ask him to reveal to those who seem closed to the truth to change their hearts to come in alignment with him. Ask God to help you remain faithful to his revealed truths no matter how many people are doing opposite of what you are doing. You might be the only one to take the road less traveled, but he will get you through the storms as you seek him every step of the way.
Live it Out: How can you see any areas of your life that you might be following instead of leading? God is calling you to lead in what Jesus lived out. As you seek him and grow in your relationship with him you’ll become more in tune with the direction he wants you to go. As you go through your day, take the time to check in with God and ask for directions and let him guide you - you may hear him in Bible verses, through the words of others, or through worship.

About this Plan
(Part four of a four part journey through the Books of Acts.) Even in (and especially in?) hard times, God is present and is working to build His Church. We can find encouragement in this. When circumstances force us to pivot, we don’t have to lose heart - God is with us.
