We also see something else in the gospels, for example, John the Baptist said, “I baptize you with water for repentance. But after me comes one who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.”

Jesus said, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.” And also said, “It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Advocate will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you”... “But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth”
