4 Lies About Money the World Wants You to Believe (And the Biblical Truth)નમૂનો
The world often tells us that success comes from hustle and grind, from sacrificing everything else to achieve it. But today, we will challenge that notion with a little help from God's word.
As we explore this, take a few minutes to examine whether this lie has taken root in your heart. If so, let's meditate on these scriptures and prayerfully ask God to replace the lie with the truth of His word.
The world’s lie: “Success only comes to those who hustle and grind and sacrifice everything important to get it.”
The Truth: The path to success is in abiding in Him and His word.
John 15:1-8 reminds us that Jesus is the vine, we are the branches, and God is the gardener. When we abide in Jesus, we bear much fruit. But apart from Him, we can do nothing. True success and the best fruit always come from staying connected to Jesus, not from our own efforts.
And Joshua 1:8 gives us a formula for Biblical success. And it isn’t “grind 16 hours a day”, but rather to meditate on God's word day and night and to be careful to do what it says. And then we’ll be prosperous and successful. True success comes from knowing and following God's word, not from hustling and grinding.
So, let's redefine success. Let's abide in Him and His word. Let's work hard, but let's also remember that our success comes from Him, not from our own efforts. Because at the end of the day, we want to be viewed as a success in God’s eyes, because that's what true success is all about.
