He Humbled Himself by Vance K. Jacksonનમૂનો
Free Indeed.
“If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.” John 8:36 KJV
For when Christ sets you free—you are truly free indeed. When Christ sets you free, you are free from addiction. When Christ sets you free, you are free from perversion. When Christ sets you free, you are free from every dark and former deed. When you are in Christ, the Blood of the sinless Lamb—sets you free.
For Galatians 5:1 KJV declares, “Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.” Stand fast on the Word of God and be not entangled in the yoke of the past. Be not entangled in the slavery of sin.
When Christ has set you free—choose to be free. “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7 KJV. Submit yourselves to God. Submit your heart to God. Resist the devil and he will flee.
According to Strong’s Concordance, the Greek word for “Resist” used in James 4:7 KJV is, ‘anthistēmi’ (G436) which means, “To set one's self against, to withstand, resist, oppose.” Choose to set yourself against sin. Choose to humble yourself, surrender to Christ, and choose to be set free. Freedom is a choice. Sin is an entanglement. Choose Christ and choose to be set free.
