The Power That Strengthens Youનમૂનો
POSITION YOURSELF IN FAITH AS A SON OF GOD
It is impressive how many theories disseminated about the days of tribulation and affliction have caused confusion, restlessness, anxiety, anguish, and fear in many people. Therefore, the best attitude in difficult times is not to understand what is happening in the world, but to put your focus on who you have become in Jesus Christ and the peace He has given you.
Don’t listen to the prophets of chaos who try to justify tribulations by spreading the idea that God is sending condemnation to his people. “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”
Those who are in Christ have become righteous before God and need not fear rejection or condemnation. The apostle Paul stated that through Jesus we have peace with God. “Therefore, since we have been declared righteous by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have also obtained access into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of God’s glory.”
Peace with God is not just peace of mind, but a spiritual standing you have before him. In other words, peace with God gives inner stability because it is not dependent on the good or bad that happens around us. Instead, it depends on Whom you are united with in spirit. Jesus explained it to his disciples like this: “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world, you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” Jesus made it clear that we would have difficult days, but we could have lasting peace and courage because he overcame evil. Likewise in Jesus, we will also overcome.
As a child of God, believe you have received peace from Jesus. But know that the enemy will try to steal it through circumstances, throwing accusations or condemnation so that you feel rejected, unloved, and without rights before God. Combat these attacks by taking a stand in faith, believing that “in all these things you are more than conquerors through him who loved you.”
