The Missing Pieceનમૂનો
“When your mind is in bondage, your life is in bondage. If your mind does not change, your life cannot change.”Joshua Selman Nimmak
Making meaningful changes to improve your health and being the best version of yourself starts with focusing on changing your thoughts. Your mind and your thoughts are powerful, and they shape who you become. No one is more influential in your life than you are so the things you say to yourself are critical. The way you think impacts your attitude, emotions, behaviors, and ultimately, your destiny.
To live to your full potential, it is important that your thoughts line up with God’s principles so that your behaviors line up with the way He has called you to live. This will allow you to be all He created you to be and do all He called you to do. If your thoughts are not aligned, you can ask God to help give you new perspectives, new desires, new motives, and new goals. Ask Him to make His priorities your priorities and His thoughts your thoughts. Romans 12:2 makes it clear that God wants to help you change, “Do not copy the behavior and customs of this world but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for your which is pleasing and perfect.”
Don’t underestimate the power of your thoughts. They, in fact, influence all the areas we have covered in this plan including if and how you choose to integrate Jesus into your life, the amount of stress you experience, your ability to resist temptation, whether you choose to please God or people, and if you value yourself as worthy. Remember, you cannot make lasting thought changes without God but with Him, anything is possible!
