21 Days to Life-Changing Confidenceનમૂનો
One night, my daughter came into my room to sleep because she was scared. Since I arrived home after her bedtime, I wasn’t the one who dressed her in her PJs. Within the dark room, I didn’t recognize her PJs at all. No matter how hard I looked at the pattern, I couldn’t tell which color they were in the dark. When we woke up the next morning, I immediately recognized her pants. They weren’t new; they were the orange paisley pants she’d worn for years.
While in the dark, I couldn’t recognize what was apparent, but it became obvious as soon as I turned on the light. This is because the darkness obscures what is obvious. We keep the sins we love most in the darkest closets of our hearts. So when we live in the dark, it means that we refuse to see our sin the way God sees it.
Confession turns the lights on. When God examines us, we can see ourselves unobscured by darkness. We don’t have to run from God when we mess up; we run to Him. We can confidently confess our sins, knowing God exposes them to eliminate them. He doesn’t do it to condemn us but to cleanse us. God reveals our darkness to replace it with something better—His light.
If we confess our sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. I JOHN 1:9
DECLARATION:
I am examined by God. He doesn't expose my heart to condemn me but to cleanse me. I am confident that as I confess the darkness of my sin, He is faithful to cleanse me with His light.
