More Authority Than You

"Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19 NKJV

No matter how the enemy tries to show up in your life, you have authority over all his powers. Another translation of this scripture says we are given the "power" to tread on serpents and scorpions. The word power in Greek means "liberty of doing as one pleases." God gives us the liberty to take the enemy out as we please. Take back your rightful place of power and authority.

Declare this today.

Devil, I have more authority than you. Jesus died and defeated death; therefore, you are defeated. I set my foot upon you. I place you under my feet to tread and trample upon you and all your power. I have defeated you through the power of Jesus Christ, rendering your sting and cunning malicious ways impenetrable to me and my life. Nothing you do can hurt me. You can rise against me; however, you will fall like lightning as you did from heaven. Flee from me and everything pertaining to me in Jesus' name. Amen.
