Paul: Past, Present, and Your Life’s Purposeનમૂનો
The Great Rescue Mission
Have you ever thought that God could use you to do great things? Do you, like Paul, find it astonishing that God saved you and now wants you to be a part of His team? As Christians, we are all on a rescue mission with the Lord. This mission is not limited to saving souls; it also extends to rescuing children and those in need. We are on this mission because Jesus himself was on a rescue mission for us. He came to Earth and walked its dusty roads to save our souls and bring us to heaven.
This mission can be seen throughout history. Wherever Christians go, they establish schools and hospitals. In Siena, Italy, the Santa Maria Della Scala was one of the first hospitals in all of Europe. People would go on pilgrimage from the north and abandon their children at the hospital’s steps. In their purpose-driven hearts, the nuns would scoop up these children, raise them, give them jobs within the hospital, and eventually send them out into the world with their savings, a change of clothes, some furniture, and even a dowry for young ladies.
This mission of rescue and restoration is not limited to the past. It is still very much alive today. Wherever God shows up, He changes everything, just like Saul turned to Paul. When we allow God to take control of our lives, He leads us to our purpose and helps us positively impact the world. So, where do you need God’s rescue mission in your life? Where do you need His restoration in your heart? When God shows up, He changes everything. We can trust Him to guide us to our purpose and lead us in fulfilling His mission of rescuing those in need.
The call to be on mission with the Lord is not easy, but it is necessary. It requires selflessness, sacrifice, and a deep love for others. Are you willing to answer this call and make a difference in the lives of those around you, just as the nuns in Siena did for the abandoned children? Will you choose to let God change everything in your life, just as He did with Saul, transforming him into Paul? The choice is yours, but the impact you can have on others and on the kingdom of God is immeasurable. Will you step out in faith and embrace the calling to be on a rescue mission with the Lord?

About this Plan
Paul’s past was filled with misdirected passion. But when God showed up, Paul was radically changed. God forgave Paul for his past sins and then used him to be one of the greatest Christians in the history of the faith. If God forgave Paul, He can forgive anyone and give them purpose. Paul changed the world because he allowed God to change him.
