Discerning God's Will for Your Lifeનમૂનો

Paul and Barnabas were serving the Lord doing many great things, but there was a specific calling from God on their lives that was not activated until they fasted and prayed to minister to God.

As you wait in the presence of God, honor the Lord, minister to God in worship, and get filled with His presence, His ideas come to you.

You are not looking for anything in exchange for your worship to Him, but simply wanting to be with Him. When you do this you'll notice that in those moments, God gives you ideas. He begins to illuminate your mind and give you understanding toward decisions you were not even thinking about at the moment. These thoughts come as gifts in His grace and as you do this, His will is revealed.

When was the last time you went to prayer not just to bring Him your prayer requests, but to minister to the Lord?

I have had supernatural guidance on many ideas. There were even ideas birthed in the flesh that were shut down in the presence of God. I call them Ishmael ideas—things that I tried to do with my own strength that drained me emotionally, mentally, and even spiritually—ideas that in my mind were “God-given” opportunities, but in prayer, God highlighted and trimmed those ideas.

As you get into the presence of God, your perspective changes and you notice when the Lord is not directing you to move in a certain way. God will pull you back or propel you forward, but the beautiful thing is that He is in charge of the speed and direction and gives you the strength to continue.

Heavenly Father, it is an honor to be in Your presence. I want to continue to minister to You because You are worthy. May those moments be of blessing, and I pray Your will is revealed to me when I least expect it.
