Pray with Purpose
Asking God to fulfill what he's already begun is what it means to pray with purpose. Since God's work is always a story, your prayers will be part of his bigger story. Instead of using prayer as a quick fix to get results, your prayer becomes a way of collaborating with God's plan. God is the one who wrote you into the script. Your role is to find your place within it and join him in his work. Your prayer today becomes purposeful, as you determine whom God is preparing to hear your Jesus story. So, prayerfully make a list today of the people in your life who don't know Jesus yet. Pray through that list all during the day. Listen for God's Spirit to give you wisdom and prompting to share the story of Jesus with them at just the right time and in just the right way.
