Heavenly Strategyનમૂનો
“We are in the world, but we are not of the world.”
Today I want to see the world through new glasses with you. We live in the world. I will take you into the realm of strategy. It is not wise to be of the world. Look at the strategy the world is using. Do you see a long or short-term strategy? Think about it.
The world is built on a short-term strategy and it is getting shorter and shorter. We are getting bored faster and faster. We increasingly need external impulses to combat that boredom. If we look at the results globally, they are appalling. We may be getting older, so the quantity is increasing, the quality does not increase. Burn-out and depression are on the rise. A huge number of depressed young people under the age of 30. The result makes you think.
God designed you differently. You are not made for the short term. You are not even made for the long haul. You were made for eternity. Yes, your body decays in the long run. “… for dust you are, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19) Assuming that the average human life expectancy in 2017 was 80 years, can we say that this is a long term. Do you have a long-term strategy for your body? A very interesting question to ponder for a while.
Your mind or spirit is made up of energy. According to physics, energy has no time and no space. Therefore your mind has an eternal character. Your body benefits from a long-term strategy and your mind has an eternal character. Both do not correspond to the short-term strategy of the world. God has an eternal character. We are created in His image. We have an eternal character if we are in connection with His eternal character. Jesus says: “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am the only way to God.” (John 14:6) Worship Jesus. Jesus is our Lord, our Savior, and our greatest Friend. In Him is anchored your eternal character.
Let your spirit be subservient to the Holy Spirit. Ask the Holy Spirit today: “Holy Spirit, fill me from head to toe. Fill me with your Heavenly power.” The Holy Spirit wants to fill you.
