The Lord Bless Youનમૂનો
When God gives you blessings, He expects you to be willing to give those blessings right back. God gives us life, and He wants our lives back. He gives us gifts, and He wants us to employ those gifts in His service. He gives us blessings, and He wants us to be conduits of blessing to others. He does want us to say thank you, but much more than that He wants us to offer Him back everything we are and have.
Jesus calls us to a high-minded, wholehearted, openhanded, big-inside benevolence in our approach to Him, to His people, and to all of life. God has blessed us so much in so many ways, and He wants us to be as radically generous as He is to us. And when we are, we always end up with more.
This is what happens when we take what we have been given and give it back to God. He blesses it, makes more of it, uses it to bless others, and makes sure we always end up with more than what we offered. If you want this generosity-begets-generosity reality, blessings reciprocated from God to us, from us to God, from us to people, and people back to us, you must think abundance. Thoughts of abundance should be our default setting.
A mind that is bathed in abundance inspires a perspective of possibility, potential, expectations of favor, and having more than enough. People who have an abundance mentality are extravagantly generous because they know they will never run out of love, forgiveness, gifts, opportunities, and blessings of every kind.
When you hold back something that God has asked you for, in essence, you are robbing Him of the opportunity to take it in His hands and use it for His purposes, to bless it, to multiply it and to give you back more than you can even imagine. This principle applies to everything we are and have by God’s grace. Do not rob God of the pleasure of opening the windows of heaven to bless you. Willingly give Him everything He asks for.
Is there anything you have been given that you have been unwilling to offer back to God?
