BE STILL AND WAIT UPON THE LORD WITH PATIENCE TO SEE YOUR COURAGE RISE.

I do not enjoy waiting. I have been waiting for healing for what seems like an eternity. As I go through physical therapy, I struggle in the waiting. It is hard to believe that I will be able to walk normally again after the accident that has left me immobile and depressed. I have just about given up because I do not see the light at the end of the tunnel. “Why is this taking so long, ”I thought. The doctor told me that I would be able to get up after a few days and start walking without pain in my hips. Now, I am struggling just to take a step, and I do not believe I will ever see the healing.

Have you ever had to push through the waiting? Is your strength wavering because it is so hard? In these times of doubt and frustration, wait upon the goodness of the Lord. Pray to him and call upon Him to help you. He hears your prayers and will answer in His perfect timing. Do not waste the wait, but lean closer to the One who promises to help You always. He never leaves You, dear one. His love never ends! Worship and trust the one who gives you the courage to continue!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your promises to me. I know there is a reason I am waiting. In this time, I will call upon You and trust You more. I will remember the promises You give to me instead of focusing on the problems before me. In these challenging times, I will see You show up BIG in my life. I will keep praying bolder prayers as I believe You will answer me! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
