The Lord’s Song
How often life’s moves and changes put us in a “strange land.” But hear the psalmist, for he also understands: How difficult it is to sing the Lord’s song in a strange land, when things become “foreign” to our plans.
Disappointing transitions, setbacks, and strange settings can spin our plans around and set our lives askew. Our challenge is to not allow circumstances to block our prayers or silence our praise.
You can be honest and admit that it’s just easier to praise in some settings than in others. Then, go ahead and praise the Lord anyway!
