Clothed in Christ
From one standpoint, we are exactly right when we feel we’re too sinful to stand in the presence of God. But let us remember we worship “in Christ”—in the beauty of His holiness. Through Him we have been cleansed and are able to stand before the holy God.
If we dare to confess that we have been stained with sin, we can also believe with equal boldness that Christ’s holiness will clothe us. In the beauty of His holiness—in robes of His righteousness—He enables us to stand high and lifted up before God.
