Jesus Is King - Let's Worship Him

Chris had an amazing journey as he, Joy, and Gizmo learned about the true meaning of Christmas. Chris showed the experience changed him by giving away his chance at "prize peak" and by choosing to go home to set up the nativity.

Chris practiced generosity when he gave away his prize ticket. He made Jesus a priority when he went home to set up the nativity. In doing these things, Chris was worshipping God.

Too often we think of worship as what we do in church. Worship is actually something we can choose to do every day, not just on Sunday. Helping people in need is worship. Thanking God for the morning sun is worship. Praying to thank God for a meal, encouraging a friend who is sad, and treating others with kindness are all types of worship.

When we choose to follow Jesus, he becomes our King. God fills us with his love and peace. Followers obey their King with both their words and their actions. We are to share God's love with our families, friends, and the people we meet every day. When we do this, we are worshiping. We are followers of our King.

God, thank you for sending Jesus to save me. Help me worship you with every part of my life. I love you. Amen.
