Come and Seeનમૂનો
The world can be a dark and confusing place. Without clear direction or absolute truth,
we are all wandering aimlessly. Like ships lost in a storm, a guiding light is necessary to show us
the right way to go.
While on earth, Jesus was the voice of clarity for His disciples. Through the chaos of life,
He had given them footsteps to follow and had always shown them the right way to go.
But now along with the grief that He was leaving, they were also painfully aware there was so
much they still didn’t understand. What were they supposed to do without Him?
So, once again their Guide began to teach. Like puzzle pieces coming together, the big
picture of every wonder they had witnessed now came into view: Christ is the visible image of
the invisible God, and the fullness of God dwells in Him! This perfect union between Father and
Son leaves only one logical conclusion: The Son is the only way to get to the Father. Once again
Jesus was showing the way, and the pathway shone brightly through Him.
There are many roads of belief, but only one road leads to truth and eternal life. Jesus is
the only way. Believe in Him. Our love for Him keeps us firmly on the path, and His Word
creates a lamp for our feet as we follow His commands.
The journey through a stormy world is not always easy, but Jesus would never leave us
alone. Drawing us close, His Spirit was sent to dwell in those who believe. So now, we are
forever in the comforting presence of God who leads the way. No longer lost, guidance is found
in the Spirit as He works in us to continue the ministry of Christ Jesus in the world.
There are many voices, many ideas, and many beliefs, but there is only one truth. It’s
found in the Son who made a path for us to walk on. Like a beacon on a stormy night, Jesus
lights the way.

CHRISTMAS CONNECTION
The Magi followed the guiding star that led them to Christ. Tonight, with this in mind, put on
your pajamas, grab some hot chocolate, and follow the road to Christmas lights. While driving,
listen to Christmas music that will remind you that He is the way.
About this Plan
Stories of the nativity are important, but the story of why Jesus came should involve so much more than a manger scene. Focusing on one chapter a day through the book of John will reveal the beauty of who Christ is and why His birth was so important. In the flurry of Christmas, keep your eyes on Him. Come and see why Jesus is our greatest gift.
