God's Not Mad at You, in Fact He Loves You

DAY 3 OF 7

We have amazing power in our hands —the power of decision.

How often have you thought you can no longer cope with the pain you are carrying? Anger and resentment overwhelm you. Jesus knew we would suffer; therefore, He became a man to give us the way out. There’s nothing you’re going through that Jesus can’t understand. Nothing you are going through is new to Him.

Have you taken a moment to look for His face? Have you given Him your burdens as He asks? I confess I do not always immediately give my worries to God, but when I did, everything changed. I experienced a sense of peace like no other. I’m here to encourage you to give your worries over to God, even if you must enter this reminder into your schedule. I do, and this is a practice I have come to master.

Whenever I feel worried or burdened, I remember that Jesus carries it for me. I tend to schedule important things that bring good things into my life, and it is not easy for me to remember. In my quest to establish an intimate relationship with God, I schedule my time alone with the Lord, time to pray, and time to study the Word.

Remember, this life will pass, but his Word will never pass. Decide today to forgive, decide to practice what you learn in the Word, change your habits, establish an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father, and you will see and experience great things you didn’t even imagine.

About this Plan

Sometimes we blame others, including God, our creator, when we do not understand the situations we go through because we do not find answers to our questions. This plan attempts to clarify doubts and questions such as, "Is there a God?" Why do bad things happen if God is good?
