Jesus People: Give My Bestનમૂનો
Is Your Best Enough?
Do you believe your best is enough? Do you believe that you have something to offer the Kingdom of God, or do you discredit yourself?
Have you ever asked yourself those questions, and do you truly believe that you have something to offer the kingdom? If you don’t believe that, you aren’t alone. People all over the kingdom discredit and disqualify themselves from service in the kingdom because they don’t believe they have anything to offer. Maybe you believe you have something to offer, but someone else would be better at it. I can’t share the gospel with my neighbor, I don’t know enough. I can’t serve on the worship team. I’m too awkward. I can’t teach other people how to follow Jesus if I still sin.
These are all among countless excuses we use to disqualify ourselves from serving in the kingdom, but the belief that your best isn’t enough is the core of all of these.
We see this belief throughout the Bible, but one of the clearest pictures of this is when God calls Moses to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. God speaks to Moses through a burning bush, and Moses clearly recognizes that this is God. There is no doubt in his mind this is God, and yet he doubts that he is the right person for the job. He doesn’t believe that his best is enough, and so he gives God a series of excuses for why he isn’t the right person for this task.
I am a nobody. Why would the Pharaoh listen to me?
God, what if the people don’t believe me or follow me?
I am not a good communicator and tend to stumble over my words.
All of this culminated in Moses bluntly asking God to pick someone else, but God responds with a common theme of “I will be with you.”
We must hold onto this truth, just as Moses did. When we are afraid and don’t believe that we are enough, we can take heart knowing that the God of the universe is with us and that He is more than enough.
Moses didn’t believe that his best was enough, but he trusted God and gave his best anyway, and God used him to free Israel from Egypt. Jesus People give our best, and we trust that God can and will use our best to impact others.

About this Plan
Jesus is our passion, obsession, and motivation. Because Christ gave his all on Calvary, we give our best every day. We believe the church should be a beautiful expression of its people. We have been gifted to give, wired for work, and saved to serve. We don’t just go to church; we are the church!
