Recently, while interviewing a job candidate, I asked about this applicant’s view of the Bible. She told me, “I believe the Bible is inspired by God, but certainly not all true.” That was a deal breaker for me.
2 Timothy 3:16 says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”
Either every word of the Bible is true, or you make yourself a god by overruling some of God’s Word. Join me in this series as I unpack an acronym that will help you trust the reliability of the Bible.
Questions for Reflection
- What is your opinion on the reliability of the Bible? Who or what influenced your opinion?
- Have you been living your daily life as though the Bible is God-breathed? If you are not, what might that look like?
- How might your business be changed if you conducted yourself as though the Bible is 100% true? Are there any specific areas that might need more Biblical integration?
