Growing Boldlyનમૂનો
A Time to Step Forward Boldly
I ended a career in software consulting after a difficult divorce. Getting my career bearings back as I attempted to completely change direction was awkward and disorienting enough. I found myself working in an environment that seemed to become more hostile toward me over time. Then the day came that I was abruptly asked to leave.
With no idea what to do next, I knew I needed to lean on God. Truth be told, as much as I tried to be self-sufficient and have it all together, I really wasn’t, and didn’t.
Perhaps you have had an experience that left you feeling as if the rug had been ripped out from under you. Unforeseen challenges can blindside us and knock us seriously off balance.
Too many women endure microaggressions, work overtime for a promotion only to be overlooked, suffer the betrayal of a coworker, experience the heartache of job loss, or other disappointing and even devastating circumstances.
I have good news. God is greater than all of them. And you’re not alone.
I saw God use my devastating experiences as catalysts for a new and more fulfilling life that includes a deep, personal relationship with Jesus Christ and meaningful work. We need God to lead the way and let our self-sufficiency fall away. As we do, we can step out in faith more boldly.
In the next few days, we will walk through what it looks like to breakthrough boldly, belong boldly, and believe boldly so you can boldly live the life for which God created you. We will look at stories from Scripture that demonstrate how much God loves you, no matter what has happened to you. You’ll see He created you in His image. He prepared good work in advance for you to do. He is using the challenges you’ve experienced for your growth. As long as you look to Him, He will show you the way, provide for your needs, and shower you with His love.
Let’s do this together!
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that nothing I face is too difficult for You. You use all of the circumstances I face for good. Please give me strength to endure, wisdom to discern Your will, and the courage to boldly step out in faith as You direct my path. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
