Achieving Faithનમૂનો
Achieving faith requires trust.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5).
Before Jesus rebuked the windstorm at the Sea of Galilee, His disciples were afraid as their boat was filling with water. But rather than focusing on the solution, they were fixed on the problem. We should never lose sight of the stark contrast between Jesus and His disciples:
“But he was in the stern, asleep on the cushion. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing” (Mark 4:38)?
Imagine hearing the disappointment in our Savior’s voice after He rebuked the storm:
“He said to them, “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith” (Mark 4:40)?
What the disciples experienced is a lesson for all of us.
Are you achieving faith in God or failing to live a fulfilling life?
Pray: Heavenly Father, You are greater than any trial I will ever encounter. There is nothing impossible for you. As I face every storm life brings, help me to stay focused on You. Guide me to perfect my faith as I meditate on Your Word. When my prayers are not aligned with Your will, I trust You to work all things together for good in my life (see Romans 8:28). You know what is best for me. I am committed to trusting You with all my heart and soul. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.
