Kingdom Writers: Move Forward in God's Call to Writeનમૂનો
Your Story Matters
We all have stories to share. In fact, there is someone waiting right now to hear your story. Are you willing to share it?
I want to encourage you to be bold in sharing your story because your story matters.
Some of you may think, “I don’t have a powerful story like that person.” Or, “No one is interested in hearing my story.”
Let me remind you of this verse from Revelation 12:11: “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.”
How do we overcome the enemy?
We overcome the enemy by the blood of the Lamb, which is the blood of Jesus, and the word of our testimony.
There is power when we share our stories.
As we share our testimonies, it not only inspires and encourages someone who is going through the same struggles, but it can also defeat the enemy.
I cannot emphasize how powerful hearing someone’s story is. It is encouraging, inspiring, and life-changing.
As a writer myself, I share my stories in almost all of my books. There is always some part of my testimony in all of them. Many times, people who read my books come up to me and say, “Shelley, I’ve never told anyone this before, but after hearing your story, I feel safe to share my story with you.”
There is one very practical strategy I recommend when it comes to sharing your stories: keep a list of the different stories that happened in your life. Some can be small and some can be big. Anecdotes or unusual events that happened to you or someone you know can also be included.
As you brainstorm ideas, you will realize that every story and event that happened in your life, has a lesson to learn behind it. The lesson is what you want to share with others.
Your story matters. Yes, it really matters.
It matters to those who God has destined to hear your story. God wants to use your story to make an impact on people you don’t even know right now.
Commit to writing at least 15 minutes per day. It’s amazing what you can accomplish in just 15 minutes per day. Your writing is more than words on a page. Writing is your calling and your gift to the world.
Prayer: "Father, thank You for being with me right now. I receive the creative flow that You have for me. Thank You for giving me the words to write as I share the story You are writing through my life. May others be drawn closer to You through my writing. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

About this Plan
Kingdom writers, let the words flow as you allow God to write through you. You are priestly pens in the hands of the Author of life. Writing a book is not for everyone. For you, writing is your calling. You feel compelled by God to write. God wants to use your words to impact lives for eternity. It's time to write words that outlive you. Will you say yes?
