Eat Up Your Flesh
“When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.” Psalm 27:2, KJV
For the Lord is Faithful to deliver. For the Lord is Faithful to protect you from the wicked one. When the wicked, even mine enemies came to eat up and devour my flesh—they stumbled and fell. The Lord is Faithful to set up a Shield round about me. For the Lord is my Rearguard. He is my Sword and Shield. For the Lord is Faithful.
Psalm 118:10-14, KJV declares, “All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord will I destroy them. They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. They compassed me about like bees: they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the Lord I will destroy them. Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the Lord helped me. The Lord is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”
The Lord is my Strength and Song. “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the Strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1, KJV. “Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.” Psalm 27:3, KJV. For the Lord is Faithful and my heart shall not fear. Though war should rise against me—I choose to trust in the Lord my God.
“For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5, KJV. For the Lord is Faithful to hide me in His Pavilion. The Amplified Version puts it this way, “For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock.” Psalm 27:5, AMPC
For the Lord is Faithful and He is my Shelter. For He is my Secret Place. He will set me high upon a rock. For the Lord is Faithful to establish me high upon a rock—His Rock. In Him will I be confident.
Revelation 19:11, KJV declares, “And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.” Place your trust in He Who is called Faithful and True. For our Lord is Faithful and True.
