Proverbs – Sayings Of Solomonનમૂનો
Dreams Fulfilled
We start dreaming at a very early age. Some dreams change as we change through life, but some dreams remain deep within us for the long haul.
In The Passion Translation, Proverbs 13:12 says, “When hope’s dream seems to drag on and on, the delay can be depressing.” It’s interesting to see this verse penned just after our Father taught us the wisdom of gradual increase.
The nature of dreams is we desire the moment when they are fulfilled. We wish to jump straight to that day. But here is where our Father shows how intimate he is with our hearts—he knows our desire to have our dreams fulfilled even today, but he also wants our ability to be faithful, to match the magnitude of our dreams.
It would break his heart and ours if our dream were to be fulfilled instantly, only to come crashing down around us. How much more wonderful is it to have the wisdom and ability to steward our dream once we have attained it?
Do not grow discouraged or depressed if your dream tarries. Instead, rest in intimacy with your Father who is steadily guiding you day by day toward your dream’s grand fulfillment.
Then, when our dreams at last come true, life’s sweetness satisfies our souls.
What dream are you waiting to be fulfilled in your life? Ask the Holy Spirit to show you steps you can take in this season of life so you can progress toward the sweet and satisfying experience of a dream fulfilled.
