Apostles of Connection

God has created us for connection with other people and channels many blessings through those connections. Today’s Bible reading teaches a salient lesson on friendliness. Imagine that this woman had no relationship with her neighbors; she would have had limited jars to use, and consequently, limited the flow of her blessing.

We must understand that God uses people to bless others; when God wants to move us to a new level, He sends people into our lives. Our potentials can be exponentially increased by the kinds of relationships we have, and the answers to our prayers are in our networks.

Prayer: Dear God, help me to exude love and grace. Let people gravitate toward me, and give me the grace to be a good friend, neighbor, child, sibling, parent, colleague. Use me to bless others and send people to bless me too. Amen.
