Our God Is ____ ?નમૂનો
OUR GOD IS ALL POWERFUL
John is talking clearly to 3 groups of people: Children, fathers and mothers, and young people. First group: We are firstly, all of us, whatever age, His children – we belong to God our Father. Second group: Fathers and Mothers – these are the people who reproduce and raise children. Physically and Spiritually. Third Group: Young people – in the Hebrew culture, this referred to anyone under the age of 40!
Which category/ies do you fall in? One thing I know, this passage of Scripture is for every person, whatever age you are, however long you have been a Christian!
Today, children of God, be reminded that your sins (the things that don’t measure up to God’s glory) have been PERMANENTLY REMOVED because of the power of his name! What’s his name? JESUS! Saviour, Redeemer, Restorer, Prince of Peace, Wonderful Counsellor, Mighty God, Immanuel. JESUS! WHAT A NAME! The name that is above all names, the name that every knee has to bow before! In heaven and on earth (Phil 2:5-11).
Be reminded today that we are strong in His Name. ‘Because the Word of God is treasured in your hearts’ (v.14), God’s Word is not just a written thing on paper, it is written on our hearts, it comes alive inside of us, transforming us from the inside out. His Word is alive and active – (Heb 4:12).
Next, be reminded today you have defeated the evil one. Because we are co-heirs with Christ, we share in His triumphs. With Jesus as King of our life, we defeat the evil one, because of what He has already done. (Rev. 12:11).
Reflection: Take a moment to reflect on the almighty power of our God. What has He overcome in your life so far?
Prayer: Thankyou Jesus for the power of your name! In your name, you have permanently removed my sins. Not temporarily, but permanently. And I’m reminded today, in your name Jesus, I am strong. Your Word is written on my heart. Continue to transform me inside out, to make me more like you. And thankyou that you have defeated the evil one. And I live on the Victory side.

About this Plan
1 John is the first of three short letters written by the disciple John. 1 John is thought to have been written to the churches around Ephesus in around 90AD. In this short letter, we start to see and grasp the magnitude of God’s perfect character, and how much his love has radically been shown to us through Jesus. OUR GOD IS ____ ?
