Bricklayers 3નમૂનો
As the Jewish people began to rebuild and repair the wall, they consecrated it. They recognized that the wall was special, uniquely set apart for the glory of God and the service of God. The bricklayers didn’t look back at what they built, pound their chests, high five and affirm each other. As soon as a piece of the wall was rebuilt, they stopped. They prayed. They thanked God. And they recognized that the rebuilding of the wall was something God did. I imagine the bricklayers stepped back, looked back at the wall and proclaimed to God, “All of this work belongs to you. You are the one who makes us able to conquer such a feat.”
As you begin to rebuild the different walls in your life and the church, take time to recognize the power of God that has allowed you to rebuild. It seemed like the Jewish people were proud to rebuild the wall. They were fueled to work for the God who created everything. Today, whatever you do, do it unto the Lord.
