Familiaનમૂનો
When you think of grandparents, what comes to mind? Maybe it's great food, funny stories, really honest commentary on life, or even just a memory. In most cultures, the elders of the family are held in high regard. The ones who haven given so much of themselves over the years are the ones who are most cherished and respected. What is incredible about the matriarchs and patriarchs of our families is their opportunity to have gained so much wisdom over the years.
The Bible emphasizes that wisdom is a gem, and we tend to believe the more experience we gain, the more wisdom we'll gain. But what if we considered wisdom as something we can only get more of when we live generous lives, ones that revolve around giving? After all, God is giving to us all the time, and it's not so that we can hoard all of the good things given. It's so that we can, in turn, gain wisdom and live a generous life.
Reflect on some of the good things or experiences God has given you. What have you learned from those experiences?

About this Plan
“Family” is a concept understood in every country, culture, and language, but we all have unique family structures, traditions, problems, and dysfunctions. It's not always easy to love our families, but the Bible is full of guidance on how to love each other well — we just have to be willing to apply that at home. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll discover how to do that.
