God's Plan and Promises for His Peopleનમૂનો
What promises accompany God's plan for our salvation?
Since God's plan has been to rescue men and women from the consequences of their sin, and since Jesus Christ was sent to Calvary's cross to carry out God's plan, what promises accompany the divine plan for our salvation? Are there any promises that help us to know how to respond to God's plan? Yes—exceedingly great and precious promises.
Here are some of Jesus' promises recorded in the Gospel of John: John 5:24: "He who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life."
John 6:37: "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out."
John 10:9, 10: "I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture... I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly."
John 11:25: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me, though he may die, he shall live."
John 14:27: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."
These are just a few of the precious promises Jesus made to all who respond to God's love. When we know the eternal plan of God for our salvation and respond to Him in faith, we have the privilege of claiming these promises. We can lay hold of them and claim them as our own.
God has a plan for your life. He wants to rescue you from the consequences of your sin. And His plan has teeth to it. Christ Jesus died in obedience to accomplish God's eternal plan for our salvation.
But now the spotlight is on you. You must believe God's plan; you must accept God's love; you must trust Jesus Christ as the only Savior from your sin. You must abandon your plans for salvation and put your full faith and trust only in His plan. Without this kind of faith, it is impossible to please God (Heb. 11:6).
If you have never trusted Jesus Christ as your Savior, will you do so right now? Will you say to God, "Your plan is not just the best, but it's the only plan. I have faith that Jesus' death can pay my debt of sin. I trust Christ as my own Savior right now." If you have not done this before, please do it now. It's God's plan for you.
