Love Is... | an 8-Day Plan by Doxa Deoનમૂનો
Introduction
We want to talk about the biggest topics on this planet. That is the topic of LOVE.
Love is not a kind of hobby that you can practice over a weekend. Its not something you read a book about and you understand. Love is a lifelong journey of discovery, of experience, of exercise, of challenge.
To receive love is to bring meaning to my life. To give love it to bring purpose to my life. To do what I love brings fulfillment to my life and that is why the scriptures say that love is of God and God is love.
I John 4:7 says: "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."
When our love tank begins to fill with the revelation of the love of God it overflows into every dimension of our lives. That is what I want to do now, I just want to have a look at the fact that if God is love, then He is revealed to us as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Three in One, and we find a different face, a different variation of the revelation of Love.
My first understanding is that through the Holy Spirit, I must bring Gods caring and love to people. To wrap my arms around them, make them feel safe and find the space where they know they are supported.
The revelation of Jesus, the Son, through me shows my dedication to the people that I love. My willingness to lay down my life for them. The fact that I bring values into this relationship, there is healthy conflict, we need to be dedicated the one to the other.
Lastly, the fathering, the mentoring, the focus on your growth, your development, your full potential. I care for you, I am devoted to you, but I want to grow you, I want to see positive change in your life.
That is why the scripture says, God is Love.
Over the next 7 days we will journey through seven videos of approximately 2-3 minutes each that I want to challenge you to watch with your spouse. After that, work through the material. by speaking through the discussion point for the day and by praying for your relationship.
For those of you who are not married. Why don’t you go through the same process and apply that to the other relationships you have in your life?
Would you pray this prayer as you prepare to kick off your journey:
Heavenly Father, thank you that you love me, thank you that there is no way that I can comprehend how high, how wide, deep your love is for every person on this planet. Lord, will you come and reveal the fullness, the full dimensions of your love for me? Will you please bring capacity, so that I can love those who are dearest to me? Those that I work with and even go beyond that. Love the people around me and love my neighbor. I am praying today, Father, that the revelation of your love will determine the rest of my life, quality of my existence, knowing God, loving Him and expressing His Love to the people around me. Thank you, Lord Jesus, Amen.
