Fervent: Fight Fear With Faith નમૂનો

During this pandemic we might be feeling put upon and stretched – perhaps we are doing tasks we would not have otherwise done. Or maybe we have to care for a particularly difficult family member and are feeling overwhelmed and taken for granted. Our tendency at such times is to either complain against our circumstances or feel sorry for ourselves. We feel like we’re being used and aren’t really receiving recognition or gratitude. At such moments it is a good reminder for our souls to hear what our Lord has always taught us – to serve with love. To give of ourselves, again and again. To lay our lives down. To be servants. None of them sound appealing at all, but we are in good company when we surrender and obey – we walk with Jesus Himself. May His comfort and love encourage and spur us on to be more servant-like; to be like Him.
Pray for:
• A humble and generous spirit.
• A desire to serve others even when we don’t feel like it.
• A servant-like attitude in every aspect of our lives.
